Purim is a fun holiday for anyone who enjoys parades, carnivals, dressing up, and enthusiastically participating in the reading of the Megillah (think groggers and foot-stamping).
This year, when we can't be together in person, we can still send our love to members of our Temple Judea community via Purim Care Packages (in Hebrew: mishloach manot, in Yiddish: shalach manos) -- gift boxes filled with hamantashen and other sweet and savory treats, groggers, and tea. Each box will include a card with Happy Purim wishes, the name of the senders, sealed and hand-delivered by members. Experience the joy of giving, receiving and sharing the love with our Temple Judea community.
Participating in this Purim mitzvah will be as easy as a few clicks of your mouse. More details and your personal login link will arrive in your inbox from our unique email: judea@templejudea.org. The site will offer a list of Temple Judea members and staffers so you can select to whom you want to send a Purim Care Package. Mishloach manot is a great way to thank our Rabbi and teachers, welcome new members, and show friends and family how much you care. We are excited to help you participate in this joyful Purim tradition.
