Confirmation Academy

When our students become B'nai Mitzvah, they demonstrate that they are comfortable participating in our Jewish communal life. 

When our students become CONFIRMANDS at the end of 10th grade, they CONFIRM that they value being an active member of our Jewish community.

Confirmation 2021 . . . Temple Judea-style!           

  • The Confirmation Academy meets at Temple Judea on two Wednesday evenings per month.
  • When COVID regulations permit, most participants come at 5:30pm to enjoy an informal dinner with their peers.
  • The Confirmation Academy formally meets from 6:00pm - 7:30pm, with two 45 minutes classes,.
  • Our popular teachers work with the students to decide what the content of each course will be. Topics typically include current events, hot topics, ethics, and personal identity through a Jewish lens.
  • Confirmation Academy participants also enjoy service projects and educational trips.
  • The Confirmation Academy culminates with a Confirmation ceremony at the end of 10th grade.
