Open Ark In-Person Prayer Time on Yom Kippur

Temple Judea is scheduling live, safe, open ark and sanctuary time for personal prayer and reflection on Yom Kippur afternoon.

Information Register

Individuals or family groups can reserve a private five minutes at the open ark for personal prayer.

This will also provide an opportunity to stay in the sanctuary for an additional 15 minutes, seated in silence, in meditation, in prayer, listening to the music of the High Holy Days.

Make a reservation for personal time at the ark

Please sign up for one of the time intervals below. During the week prior to Yom Kippur, you will receive an exact 5-minute ark reservation in that week's reminder email. This email will also include a COVID-19 questionnaire that must be completed on behalf of you (or your group) before entering the synagogue.

Please note:

  • All individuals coming into Temple Judea will be required to complete a COVID-19 questionnaire within a three-day window prior to entering Temple Judea. This will be sent via a reminder email with your specific reservation time during the week prior to Yom Kippur.
  • Arrival must be within fifteen minutes of the assigned time.
  • Face masks and physical distancing are absolutely mandatory at all times while in the synagogue.

We will send a COVID-19 questionnaire to each additional person that you list.
