In one two-hour packing session, the average volunteer produces enough food to feed a starving child for seven months! What to bring: During this event we will be collecting brand new socks and gently used clean towels for local shelters around our city. These items can be dropped off as you enter the building on the day of the event. We will also have items for sale that help support the mission, so come prepared! Wear any jewelry (rings, earrings, necklaces, bracelets, watches, etc.) you will be required to remove them UPDATE: In response to the overwhelming food shortages around the world due to the war in Ukraine, our event is now listed as a Crisis Event.
